Founded in 2003 in Denver, Colorado, we have worked with organizations from small non-profits to Fortune 50 organizations across many industries. We have experience in various business domains, technology projects and business process improvement solutions. We help customers with coaching, training and consulting needs.
Our background is in software development and process improvement. These practices go hand-in-hand because great software demands solid business processes and rules. Business systems involve automated and manual processes; we find that often the problems are not with the automation, but with the manual steps in a process. So, stating the obvious, we continue to find situations where the solution is NOT software, but fixing a manual business process.
Jake Calabrese: Principal Consultant, Trainer & Coach
Jake Calabrese is a trainer, coach and principal consultant at VimStreet who focuses on working with people, teams and organizations to improve business analysis practices. Jake has worked on a range of successful endeavors such as business process improvements, enterprise system replacements, mergers and acquisitions, Internet initiatives and software process improvements.
Jake founded VimStreet in 2003 with the mission to help organizations slice through the confusion surrounding process improvement and technology projects. He believes that working with customers, products, features and requirements should add value to an organization as well as be an enjoyable and valuable process. Jake is driven by the challenge of achieving this vision as he works to help people relentlessly learn and improve. An organization’s capacity to learn and improve is one of the most important factors of ongoing success.
Jake places straightforward communications and customer involvement at the forefront of all his engagements. His approach is built on collaboration and communication, and is guided by ideas from a number of areas including business analysis, lean, agile, professional coaching and project management.
Jake holds a BS in Management Information Systems from Penn State, and is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) recipient, a Project Management Professional (PMP®), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
